It’s been a very exciting week at Airmedica! On Monday, we officially launched the expansion of our range, to include two new products, Airmedica Cleanse hand wash and Airmedica Protect hand cream. Made in Ireland in Cork and Mayo, we uses over 80% Irish ingredients in our products. The range, which includes our flagship Sanitise hand sanitiser, is vegan and cruelty-free and available at our online shop.
We have also been awarded membership of Guaranteed Irish and this week we produced our 2.5 millionth unit of hand sanitiser, which is used by the HSE for its frontline staff.
Commenting on the launch of the expanded range, Breffney O’Dowling-Keane, Market Development Manager said: “Airmedica’s product range is wholly-Irish owned. We are delighted to launch our three-step Hand Shield process of Cleanse hand wash, Sanitise hand sanitiser and Protect hand cream, which is the first of its kind made in Ireland. We are so proud that our hand sanitiser was used by frontline workers throughout the pandemic. We are now expanding the range, so that people can protect their hands and their health while supporting Irish.
We strive to be even more Irish and we are continuously searching for further ingredients sourced in Ireland.
“With more and more products entering the market, consumers need to be sure what they are buying is effective. All Airmedica products contain the highest quality of ingredients and meet Irish and European quality standards.”
Last weekend, we also visited independent local businesses near our Cork and Claremorris campuses to welcome them back as they reopened and donate complimentary wall-mounted units and hand sanitiser. It’s part of our mission to make sure Irish organisations have what they need to stay safe.
Since launching, Airmedica has donated over 10,000 units of hand sanitiser to local hospices, hospitals and charities, including Marymount Hospice, Crumlin Children’s Hospital, Mayo Roscommon Hospice and Cork Penny Dinners.
